Juliet, Tenn.), graduating in 2017...in his junior season, was named Tennessee Baseball Coaches Association (TBCA) All-Region, as well as a TBCA 3-A All-State player...during his prep career, he also represented Team Tennessee in the McAlester Junior National Classic, helping lead the team to the 2016 Junior Sunbelt National Championship...Began his collegiate career at Vanderbilt, making 11 relief appearances as a freshman before transferring to State College of Florida (Bradenton, Fla.) for his sophomore campaign...Finished his collegiate career with Middle Tennessee State (2020-21)¡made four starts and posted a 3.63 ERA through four starts in the pandemic-shortened 2020 season...as a junior in 2021, was named to the All-Conference USA Second Team after going 7-5 with a 3.99 ERA through his 14 starts...led Conference USA with 113 strikeouts in 2021...Brown's debut in 2020 at Middle Tennessee State, located approximately 45 minutes from his hometown, Mt. Juliet, Tenn., came just weeks after Mt. Juliet was damaged by nearly 10 tornadoes, including one registering as a category EF-4...the school his father taught at during the storms was severely damaged from the natural disaster...Brown was thankful of the new proximity to his hometown, as he was physically able to check on loved ones, while also assisting in recovery efforts...Selected by the Astros in the ninth round of the June 2021 draft...signed by Astros scout Landon Townsley...Received first invite to ML Spring Training in 2025...is under a Minor League contract for this season.
2024
Began the 2024 season with Double-A Corpus Christi, going 3-7 with a 4.50 ERA (46ER/92IP) and 111 strikeouts in 22 games (13 starts)¡was promoted to Triple-A Sugar Land on Aug. 31, where he went 0-3 with a 5.32 ERA (13ER/22IP) in five starts...struck out a career-high 10 batters through five innings on April 21 vs. San Antonio and earned Texas League Pitcher of the Week honors for that week...tossed a career-high 114 innings between his time with the Hooks and Space Cowboys.

Worked all of 2023 with Double-A Corpus Christi and went 5-2 with a 4.30 ERA (49ER/102.2IP) and 110 strikeouts in 26 games (14 starts).
2022
Spent the 2022 season with Asheville (A+), going 4-9 with a 5.28 ERA (64ER/109IP) in 25 games (14 starts)¡converted both of his save opportunities.
2021
Made his professional debut in 2021 and went 1-3 with a 5.95 ERA (13ER/19.2IP) in five games (three starts) with Low A Fayetteville...also made one start with the Astros Florida Complex League affiliate.
