Made 17 appearances (four starts) spanning three stints with the Rays¡was with the Rays from Opening Day through April 30, May 25 to June 27 and July 19-30. Was on the injured list twice, first from June 7-27 with right elbow inflammation¡was placed on the seven-day IL on Aug. 14 by Triple-A Durham before being recalled by the Rays on Sept. 23 and subsequently placed on the 60-day IL with right bicep tendinitis to clear a 40-man roster spot for Raimel Tapia. Started four games, going 0-1 with a 7.88 ERA (8.0/7) in those contests¡the Rays were 2-2 in his starts, all of which came in April¡he went 1-0 with a 6.62 ERA (17.2/13) in his 13 relief appearances. Recorded 2.0+ IP in seven of his 17 games. Allowed at least one run in seven of his first eight appearances before being optioned on April 30, pitching to a 6.43 ERA (14.0/10) in that span. Went 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA (8.0IP, 2ER) over seven games spanning two stints with the Rays from May 25 to July 22¡yielded eight earned runs in 3.2 innings over his final two appearances of the season.
