Red Sox agree with outfielder Jarren Duran on one-year contract with club option

BOSTON, MA¡ª The Boston Red Sox today signed outfielder Jarren Duran to a one-year contract for the 2025 season, with a club option for 2026.
The Red Sox have no remaining players eligible for salary arbitration.
Duran, 28, finished eighth in 2024 American League Most Valuable Player voting, earning his first career All-Star selection and batting .285 (191-for-671) with 111 runs scored, 48 doubles, 14 triples, 21 home runs, and 34 stolen bases. Selected by Boston in the seventh round of the 2018 First-Year Player Draft, the California native has hit .272 (357-for-1,314) in 353 career Major League games, all with the Red Sox (2021-24).
