Royals Hall of Fame
The Royals Hall of Fame, presented by Commerce Bank, is an education and entertainment venue blending the timelessness of a museum with the sheer fun of the ballpark for a one-of-a-kind outing at Kauffman Stadium. The 7,000+ square foot facility opened on July 17, 2009 and features dynamic exhibits that include artifacts, photos, documents and multi-media experiences tracing the history of professional baseball in Kansas City from the 1884 Kansas City Unions to the current day Kansas City Royals.
- Where: Inside Gate A on the Plaza Level concourse (leftfield corner of the ballpark).
- When: For all home games, the Royals Hall of Fame opens to the public when gates open to Kauffman Stadium and closes at the top of the 8th inning.
- The Royals Hall of Fame is free of charge to all fans during every Royals home game.

Fans can learn about the Royals founding and the special story of the innovative Royals Baseball Academy; the important role of player development and the minor leagues; hear more about great moments in Royals history; take a look back at the amazing careers of two of the greatest players to ever play- George Brett and Frank White; and relive the Royals championship seasons including Kansas City's first American League Championship in 1980, the amazing 1985 journey to a World Series title, the back-to-back American League Pennant winning seasons of 2014 and 2015 - and the unforgettable postseason run that made the 2015 Kansas City Royals into World Series Champions. Hall of Fame Highlights
'Strikeouts, Sliders, & Cy' ¨C The Royals Hall of Fame is honored to be working with our friends in Cooperstown on a feature exhibit exploring the history of Major League Baseball's highest pitching honor, the Cy Young Award. Named after Denton True 'Cy' Young, perhaps the greatest pitcher of all-time, the yearly award to baseball's best pitcher(s) was inaugurated in 1956. The exhibit includes artifacts from the careers of Cy Young Award winners including Hall of Famers Warren Spahn, Sandy Koufax, Greg Maddux, Randy Johnson, and Pedro Martinez. Artifacts from three Royals that have won the honor - Bret Saberhagen, David Cone, and Zack Greinke - are also featured in the exhibit.
Royals Hall of Fame Plaques - Learn about the accomplishments and contributions of all twenty-seven (27) members of the Royals Hall of Fame. The organizations' highest honor was first awarded in 1986 to Royals pitcher Steve Busby and outfielder Amos Otis, with the most recent inductee being 2015 World Series Manager Ned Yost.
