LATEST INJURIES
OF Blake Perkins
Injury: Right shin fracture
Expected return: May
Status: Perkins, an important part of the outfield rotation as a switch-hitter and defensively-sound center fielder, fouled a Freddy Peralta pitch off his shin in live batting practice and was expected to need 3-4 weeks of rest as of a Feb. 22 update, followed by a 4-6 week ramp-up to game action. (updated Feb. 22)
RHP J.B. Bukauskas
Injury: Right lat
Expected return: TBD
Status: Bukauskas, a non-roster invitee who entered camp as a depth option for the Brewers bullpen after missing much of 2024 with a lat injury, suffered a major setback while throwing live batting practice on Feb. 19 and was mulling surgery. He will be sidelined for an extended period. (updated Feb. 22)
RHP Brandon Woodruff
Injury: Right shoulder
Expected return: Potentially May
Status: Woodruff underwent a major shoulder repair in October 2023 and then spent all of '24 rehabbing. He touched 92 mph while facing hitters in live batting practice sessions on Feb. 14 and 21 and called the latter session "a home run for me." (updated Feb. 22)
LHP DL Hall
Injury: Left lat strain
Expected return: Potentially April
Status: Hall was expected to compete for the starting rotation but a pre-Spring Training setback puts his timeline in question. As of a Feb. 14 update he was to refrain from throwing for two more weeks, with the aim of pitching in exhibition games during the next-to-last week of Spring Training. (updated Feb. 14)

RHP Abner Uribe
Injury: Right knee
