LHP Thomas Pannone
Injury: Left forearm
Expected return: TBD
Status: Pannone reported forearm discomfort and had to depart his March 2 start against the Guardians after being charged with four runs (three earned) on six hits while recording only one out. A non-roster invitee, he¡¯s part of Milwaukee¡¯s starting pitching depth after a solid second half in the Cubs and Yankees systems last year. (updated March 2)
RHP Brandon Woodruff
Injury: Right shoulder
Expected return: Potentially May
Status: Continued to touch 92 mph while facing hitters in a third live batting practice session on Feb. 27 and, barring a setback, will simulate multiple innings next time. (updated Feb. 28)
LHP DL Hall
Injury: Left lat strain
Expected return: Potentially April
Status: Four weeks into a rest period and still not throwing; hoping to begin playing catch the following week with the aim of pitching in exhibition games before the end of Spring Training. (updated Feb. 28)
3B Tyler Black
Injury: Back
Expected return: TBD
Status: Black tweaked his back while swinging last week. He hit off a tee on Feb. 25 and is hoping to get into Cactus League games next week. (updated: Feb. 25)
RHP J.B. Bukauskas
Injury: Right lat
Expected return: 2026
Status: Suffered a major setback while throwing live batting practice on Feb. 19. He will have surgery and is not expected to pitch this season. (updated Feb. 25)
OF Blake Perkins
Injury: Right shin fracture
Expected return: May
Status: Fouled a pitch off his shin in live batting practice and was expected to need 3-4 weeks of rest, followed by a 4-6 week ramp-up to game action. (updated Feb. 22)
C Jeferson Quero (Top Brewers prospect per MLB Pipeline)
Injury: Right shoulder
Expected return: April
Status: Reported to Spring Training at 75-80 percent by his estimation after injuring himself on the last day of last season, and was throwing to bases during the first week of camp. (updated Feb. 14)
RHP Abner Uribe
Injury: Right knee
Expected return: Opening Day
Status: Underwent surgery for a torn meniscus in July and was expected to take it easy at the start of Spring Training. Will serve a four-game suspension whenever he's called up to the Majors. (updated Feb. 12)
LF Christian Yelich
Injury: Low back inflammation
Expected return: Opening Day
Status: After a flare-up of his long troublesome lower back following the All-Star break, Yelich had season-ending surgery in August and is on track to be ready for Opening Day. (updated Feb. 4) More >
