Progressive Field hosts the Cleveland Metropolitan School District Senate League Championship each May. These high school baseball players get the full Major League experience.?

Cleveland Guardians Charities Partners support team initiatives to support the city of Cleveland and to strengthen youth through service programs that focus on education, health and fitness.
Our Community Partners help us to achieve our goals to prepare youth for successful lives and improve the quality of baseball and softball programs in Cleveland and to support the city of Cleveland more broadly. Over the past six seasons, our Community Partners have contributed nearly $700,000 to Cleveland Guardians Charities charities.

CGC Golf Outing
The Golf Classic continues to be a top CGC fundraiser. The 2021 event was held on August 23 at Quail Hollow Country Club.
Diamond Improvement Grant
The purpose of the Diamond Improvement Grant is to assist in local league funding, programming, and the renovation of playing fields. All grants and grant amounts will be approved by Cleveland Guardians Foundation's Board of Directors.
