Friday, May 10
The Orioles beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 4-2, improving to 25-12 on the season. Cole Irvin picked up his career-high fourth-straight win, allowing two runs in 5.2 innings, while striking out six. Gunnar Henderson and Jordan Westburg each recorded an RBI. During the second and third innings, Orioles owner and control person David Rubenstein aka Rubensplash served as the guest splasher in the Bird Bath for Mr. Splash Bobblehead night.
Saturday, May 11
The Orioles beat the D-backs, 5-4, in 11 innings to mark their third extra- inning win of the year. Their 26-12 record matched the 1969 and 1970 Orioles for the best start to a season in club history. Jordan Westburg delivered a walk-off RBI single, his second career walk-off. Gunnar Henderson and Anthony Santander both homered, extending their season totals to 12 and seven, respectively.
Sunday, May 12
Adley Rutschman recorded his sixth home run of the year in the sixth inning. Jordan Westburg doubled in the fifth inning to mark his fourth straight game with a double. Westburg*s 27 RBI at the end of the game were tied with Gunnar Henderson for the team lead.
Monday, May 13
The Orioles began a three-game series vs. the Toronto Blue Jays. Adley Rutschman homered in the fourth and sixth innings for his first-career multi-homer game. At the end of the game, Rutschman*s 16 multi-hit efforts led the O*s. The second game of the series, scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, was postponed due to rain.
Wednesday, May 15
The Orioles beat the Blue Jays, 3-2, thanks to an Adley Rutschman walk-off two-run home run. The win marked the O*s 12th comeback win and fifth walk-off win of the season. The walk-off was the second of Rutschman*s career, joining April 13, 2023. It also marked his fourth home run in three games. Jordan Westburg homered in the first inning, marking his first career leadoff home run in his first career at-bat as a leadoff hitter.
Friday, May 17
The Orioles beat the Seattle Mariners, 9-2, scoring five runs in the first inning and four runs in the seventh. Gunnar Henderson led off the first inning with his 13th home run of the year, marking the first time since 2008 that the O*s hit leadoff home runs in back-to-back games. The O*s recorded four straight extra-base hits in the seventh inning, including back-to-back triples to start the inning. It marked the first time they recorded four straight extra-base hits since 2018 and the first time hitting back-to-back triples since 2008. John Means earned the win, improving to 2-0 this year.
Saturday, May 18
Grayson Rodriguez threw 6.0 innings in his first start coming off the 15-day IL, allowing just one hit and striking out seven. Gunnar Henderson connected on his 14th home run of the season in the ninth inning. Before the game, Orioles play-by-play announcer Kevin Brown joined a local cover band on stage to perform Blink-182*s ※All The Small Things.§
Sunday, May 19
The Orioles beat the Mariners, 6-3, to mark their 10th series win of the year. Gunnar Henderson hit his fifth leadoff home run of the year, Cedric Mullins stole his 100th career base, and Craig Kimbrel appeared in his 800th career game. Corbin Burnes earned his fourth win of the season, throwing 6.0 innings and striking out a season-high-tying 11 batters.
