Friday, April 26
The Orioles opened their third homestand of the season and celebrated Autism Acceptance Night Friday against the Oakland Athletics. Cedric Mullins connected on his sixth home run of the year in the fourth inning and Ryan O¡¯Hearn collected his fifth multi-hit game of the year. Corbin Burnes threw 6.0 innings and recorded his 900th career strikeout in the second inning.
Saturday, April 27
The Orioles beat the Athletics, 7-0, to extend their sweepless streak to 100 regular-season series. Adley Rutschman and Ryan Mountcastle hit back-to-back home runs on back-to-back pitches in the fifth inning and Gunnar Henderson connected on his ninth homer of the season in the seventh inning. Cole Irvin earned his second win of the year after throwing 7.0 scoreless innings, his longest start as an Oriole.
Sunday, April 28
Adley Rutschman, Ryan Mountcastle, and Ram¨®n Ur¨ªas each homered, marking the Orioles¡¯ ninth game with three-or-more home runs this year. Baltimore¡¯s 44 home runs are the most through the first 27 games of a season in team history.
Monday, April 29
The Orioles beat the New York Yankees, 2-0, in the teams¡¯ first matchup of the year. Gunnar Henderson became the youngest player in MLB history to hit 10 home runs before May 1 when he homered to lead off the first inning Grayson Rodriguez earned the win, throwing 5.2 scoreless innings and striking out three.
Tuesday, April 30
The Orioles beat the Yankees, 4-2, to guarantee a series split and improve to 5-0 against AL East opponents this year. Dean Kremer threw 7.0 innings, tying his season-high in innings pitched. Jacob Webb threw 1.1 innings, striking out three and picking up his first save of the year, and his first as an Oriole. Adley Rutschman extended his career-high hitting streak to 11 games and recorded his 13th multi-hit game of the year.
Wednesday, May 1
Corbin Burnes recorded his team-leading fourth quality start of the year. Heston Kjerstad recorded his first big league hit of the year, a single in the third inning.
Thursday, May 2
The Orioles beat the Yankees, 7-2, to win the four-game series and have gone 12-0-4 in their last 16 series against the AL East since April 2023. Kyle Bradish made his first start of the season, striking out five in 4.2 innings, after being reinstated from the IL prior to the game. Ryan Mountcastle, Jorge Mateo, and Ryan McKenna all homered in the win. The O¡¯s 10 games with three-or-more home runs lead all of Major League Baseball. Jordan Westburg notched a two-run triple in the fifth inning. His nine multi-RBI games lead the team.
