Scoreboard Surprises
Celebrate a special occasion by displaying a message on the right field LED ribbon board at Petco Park during a Padres home game. Your purchase of a message will support a great cause ¨C the Padres Foundation!
BEFORE YOU ORDER:
- Postseason messages must be submitted five (5) hours prior to the game. Monday through Saturday message requests must be submitted no later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the date of the game. Sunday requests must be submitted forty-eight (48) hours prior to the date of the game. Late messages may not be accepted.
- Payment is by credit card only. Your credit card will be charged upon the Padres approval of the message.
- Messages are available for $200 each. All proceeds benefit the Padres Foundation, the official 501(c)3 team charity.
- Messages are displayed on the right field LED ribbon board located beneath the Viasat scoreboard and between the upper and lower right-field bleachers. Please refer to the above image to see where your scoreboard surprise will be displayed.
- Please note you are unable to see the right field LED ribbon board from your seats if located in right field odd sections 129-137 or 227-235.
- It is the responsibility of the individual or party to verify they can see the right field LED ribbon board from their seats and to watch for their message during inning breaks.

MESSAGE INFORMATION & GUIDELINES:
- Each message is limited to 70 characters, including spaces and punctuation. All Messages are displayed in capital letters and are auto centered.
- All ribbon board messages run at least once during the game but could be repeated later if time permits although not guaranteed.
- Ribbon board messages are displayed starting in the 2nd inning. There is a maximum number of messages per break, so if you do not see your message run during a break, it will run in another batch during a later break. Due to the nature of baseball, we are unable to provide an exact time or inning when your message will be displayed.
- The Padres Foundation reserves the right to approve and edit any message if necessary. Messages that are obscene, offensive, include foul language or refer to any other Major League organization will not be accepted. They also may not include the name of any MLB player. Messages containing personal contact information will not be accepted.
- The message cannot be used for commercial purposes; however, you may welcome a group or company who is attending the game. No social media handles of any kind are allowed.
- Photos, QR codes, and emojis cannot be included with messages to be displayed on the ribbon board.
