Split the season between the Cubs Major League squad and Iowa (AAA)...pitched in 12 games in relief for the Cubs, posting a 6.75 ERA (8 ER, 10.2 IP) with 13 strikeouts...Went 1-1 with a 5.97 ERA (19 ER, 28.2 IP) and one save in 26 games with Iowa...Began the season with Iowa, making five-straight scoreless appearances (6.0 IP) from April 1-19...Had two stints with the Cubs, April 21-May 3 and May 15-June 13...Tossed eight scoreless innings in his first seven appearances with the Cubs from April 21-May 23, before allowing runs in four of his final five games with Chicago in 2023...Spent the remainder of the season with Iowa, pitching to an 8.38 ERA (18 ER, 19.1 IP) in 18 games from June 16-September 24...Per Statcast, while with CHC, he relied on four pitches: Four Seamer (84.0%), Slider (13.1%), Changeup (2.5%) and Curveball (0.4%)...Was placed on waivers by the Cubs and claimed by San Diego on Nov. 6, 2023.

Jeremiah made his major league debut in 2022, with his call-up to the majors coming as a replacement player for a three-game series in Toronto Aug. 30 ... allowed one walk and struck out two batters while tossing 17 pitches in the bottom of the eighth inning... Was returned to Triple-A Iowa Aug. 31 and then selected Sept. 1 as rosters expanded... In five games in relief for the Cubs, posted a 3.18 ERA (2 ER/5.2 IP), while striking out eight batters, good for an average of 12.7 strikeouts per 9.0 IP... Held batters to a .100 average (1-for-10) with runners in scoring position... Went 3-2 with a 1.30 ERA (7 ER/48.1 IP), nine saves and five holds in 34 games out of the bullpen with High-A South Bend, Double-A Tennessee and Triple-A Iowa ... struck out 78 of 193 batters faced, compared to 20 walks, for an average of 14.5 strikeouts per nine innings pitched.

Played 11 games for Myrtle Beach (A) in 2021, going 1-1 with a 1.57 ERA (4 ER, 23.0 IP) and striking out 38 batters, compared to six walks, for a 6.33 strikeouts per walk ratio...His season was cut short due to a right elbow injury, after being placed on the injured list Aug. 1.
