Metropolitan Stadium

Opened on April 24, 1956, Metropolitan Stadium hosted its first Twins game on April 21, 1961 and the Twins called it home until the end of the 1981 season. Metropolitan Stadium was demolished in 1985; its old site is currently home to Mall of America.
Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome

Opened on April 3, 1982, the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome was home to the Twins for over 20 years. It was the third domed facility in baseball and remains the only air-supported structure among the 28 in use.
