January 17, 2024
Bats were swinging and baseballs were flying as several major league guests joined the Phillies¡¯ Youth Baseball and Softball Development team to host a special clinic for RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) youth players at Citizens Bank Park as part of the team¡¯s MLK Day of Service events.
1993 National League champions Mickey Morandini and Milt Thompson, along with 1980 World Series champion Dickie Noles, instructed the young players how to hit, pitch and field like a pro.
Phillies manager Rob Thomson also joined the fun, giving major league feedback and answering their questions about their favorite team and players.
This event was also part of the Phillies week-long Winter Tour.
