Record-Breaking $548,200 Raised for Charity at the 12th Annual Phantastic Auction
The bidding has ended, and the results are in! The Phillies and SportsRadio 94WIP are proud to announce that the 12th Annual Phantastic Auction raised $548,200 to benefit Phillies Charities, Inc., the charitable arm of the Philadelphia Phillies. A portion of the proceeds will also benefit ALS United Mid-Atlantic.
The phillies.com charity event, held May 7-19, gave fans the chance to bid on player, front office, alumni and gameday experiences, memorabilia and more.
¡°Thanks to our partner SportsRadio WIP, along with the tremendous support from our passionate fans, this year¡¯s Phantastic Auction raised the highest amount ever in the 12-year history of the event,¡± said Phillies Charities, Inc. President John Weber. ¡°We are also thankful to our players, alumni and front office for offering these once-in-a-lifetime experiences and memorabilia, all for a great cause.¡±
Phantastic Auction experiences that were up for bid included: a private pitching lesson with pitcher Zack Wheeler, kids wiffle ball party at The Yard with first baseman Bryce Harper, private hitting lesson with infielder Trea Turner and the opportunity to play miniature golf with Brandon Marsh and Alec Bohm, among others.
Unique pieces of memorabilia that were up for bid included: a 2024 Phillies autographed baseball set of 32, Phillies Gold Glove and Silver Sluggers autographed memorabilia set, autographed Mike Schmidt and Brian Dawkins authentic Phillies jersey and a 2004-2023 Phillies All-Stars autographed memorabilia set.
