Kenny Farrell joined the D-backs in January 1998 and is responsible for advertising, promotions, fan development, fan experience and consumer research. Farrell also oversees the teamĄ¯s Ticket Operations department where he spent his first 12 seasons with the organization.
With a background in analytics, Farrell brings a data-driven approach to the teamĄ¯s marketing efforts. He led the development and rollout of internally developed BI tools and a custom CRM application to aide smart and swift decision-making needed for the organization. Farrell added Fan Experience, including oversight of the clubs food and beverage and retail operations, to his responsibilities in 2021.
FarrellĄ¯s career began in the teamĄ¯s ticket operations department where he served in various roles including managing the teamĄ¯s phone sales efforts during its 2001 World Series championship run. Farrell became Director of Ticket Operations in 2006 before building the teams Business Analytics department in 2010. Farrell has led all club-marketing efforts since 2016 growing single game ticket sales every season.
Farrell is a graduate of Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication in 1997 and Master of Arts in Communication in 2005.
