Made the 2020 Opening Day roster for the Cardinals but did not play in a single game during the season after he was placed on the Injured List five games into the season...Was placed on the Injured List, August 4 and re-instated August 27...Played in just five games for the Aguilas in the 2020-21 Dominican Winter League, a year removed from playing in 43 games during the 2019-20 off-season. Batted .211 (4-19) with an RBI.
2020 POSTSEASON: Traveled with the team to San Diego, but was not on the Wild Card Series postseason active roster.

Had arguably his best season as a professional playing in 118 games at Memphis (AAA), posting career minor league season highs in home runs (17), RBI (62), runs (70), hits (132) and hit by pitch (16)...Played in eight games for St. Louis during the season, being recalled on July 16, then optioned on July 19, before a final recall on Sept. 2 for the remainder of the season...Recorded his first Major League hit at CIN (7/18), a pinch-hit single to right field off Jimmy Herget in the 9th inning at Great American Ballpark.
