Know Before You Go

Fans are strongly encouraged to arrive early and purchase parking in advance to avoid delays.

Parking lots open two hours before the start of every game. Fans holding prepaid parking passes will be directed to Lots A, B, C, and G ¨C north of the ballpark. Limited day-of-game parking is available in the credit/debit card only Lots F and L ¨C south of the ballpark. Parking transactions are ONLY conducted by credit card with official staff within lots.

Please note that street closures and changes to traffic patterns are to be expected on game days. It is strongly recommended that you map your route before heading to the ballpark.

Gates to the ballpark open 90 minutes prior to the first pitch. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to allow for entry and security measures.

Clear single compartment tote bags (12¡± x 12¡± x 6¡± or smaller), clutch purses (9" x 5" x 2" or smaller) and diaper bags when an infant is present are permitted to carry into the ballpark. No backpacks or other bags are allowed.

All tickets are mobile. Please have your tickets downloaded and displayed on your phone before arriving at the ballpark. To avoid connectivity issues and ensure easy access, add your mobile tickets to the MLB Ballpark app wallet or your phone¡¯s wallet app.

All tickets are powered by Ticketmaster SafeTix. With leading-edge technology, SafeTix come standard with powerful fraud and counterfeit protection. SafeTix provides a unique barcode that automatically refreshes every few seconds, preventing tickets from being stolen or copied. Screenshots will not be accepted.

Guaranteed Rate Field is fully cashless, including parking lots, retail shops, and concession stands.

Major League Baseball and the Chicago White Sox are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and enjoyable fan experience at Guaranteed Rate Field. If a guest is in need of assistance for any issue (medical, security, etc.), they are encouraged to use their mobile phone to anonymously text 773-754-4357 (HELP). A reply message will be sent to your phone by our Command Center personnel and the appropriate staff member will be dispatched to the appropriate location as needed. Do not engage in any unruly behavior, including obscene gestures, derogatory, vulgar, biased or abusive language, including betting related speech and behavior, directed at guests, venue personnel, players, umpires, officials, or anyone else.

Guaranteed Rate Field has a modern LED field light system that features a sequence of flashing lights that may affect guests who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or other photosensitivities. Light shows take place approximately five minutes before first pitch, when the White Sox hit a home run, and after the White Sox win!
