Ragans exited his start against the Rockies on April 24 with left groin tightness. An MRI on April 25 revealed that Ragans has a ¡°very mild left groin strain.¡±
Logan Gilbert and George Kirby, Mariners
Gilbert left his April 25 start against the Marlins after three innings with right forearm tightness.
Kirby (right shoulder inflammation) threw a bullpen session at T-Mobile Park on April 25. The next step would be a live batting practice, which could come as soon as April 28.
Garrett Mitchell and Brandon Woodruff, Brewers
Mitchell left the Brewers' April 25 game after four innings with left oblique tightness.
Woodruff (right shoulder surgery) made his third rehab appearance on April 24 with Triple-A Nashville, tossing five scoreless innings.
Luke Keaschall, Royce Lewis and Willi Castro, Twins
Keaschall, who left the Twins' April 25 game after being hit by a pitch in the first inning, has a right forearm fracture.
Lewis (left hamstring strain) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul on April 25.
The Twins placed Castro on the 10-day injured list with a strained right oblique on April 24.
Cristopher S¨¢nchez and Ranger Su¨¢rez, Phillies
S¨¢nchez (left forearm soreness) played catch from 60 and 90 feet on April 25 and reported feeling good.
Su¨¢rez (lower back stiffness) is scheduled to make his fourth, and potentially final, rehab start on April 27 with Triple-A Lehigh Valley. When Su¨¢rez is ready to be activated from the 15-day injured list, he will rejoin the rotation.
Lucas Giolito, Kutter Crawford, Connor Wong, Masataka Yoshida and Richard Fitts, Red Sox
Giolito (low grade left hamstring strain) made another rehab start with Triple-A Worcester on April 25 and is expected to join the Red Sox rotation within the week.
Crawford (right patellar soreness) threw a bullpen session at Fenway Park on April 22 and reported to Fort Myers, Fla., on April 24, where he will start the process of pitching to hitters and starting extended spring games before a rehab assignment.
The plan was for Wong (left pinkie fracture) to start a Minors rehab assignment on April 27, but that is now in question after he showed up with soreness after catching Crawford's bullpen session on April 24.
Yoshida (right shoulder labrum tear) has thrown up to a distance of 120 feet, but he still has a long way to go before his arm is strong enough for game action.
Fitts (right pectoral strain) is playing catch out to 120 feet, per an April 24 update.
Kumar Rocker, Corey Seager and Jack Leiter, Rangers
Rocker was placed on the 10-day IL on April 24 with a mild right shoulder impingement. Rocker recorded just five outs in his last start on April 23, allowing five earned runs.
Seager was placed on the 10-day IL on April 23 with a right hamstring strain. The injury is considered mild and Seager could return as soon as eligible.
Leiter (right middle finger blister) threw 60 pitches over 4 2/3 innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Round Rock on April 22.
Lance McCullers Jr., Astros
McCullers (right flexor tendon surgery) is scheduled to throw 60 to 70 pitches in his rehab start for Double-A Corpus Christi on April 26.
Iv¨¢n Herrera, Cardinals
Herrera (left knee bone bruise) has continued batting practice and catching the fastball machine and will run the bases next week. He could begin a possible Minor League rehab assignment May 1.
Tyler Stephenson, Reds
With back-to-back rehab assignment games rained out at Triple-A Louisville, Stephenson (left oblique strain) is now scheduled to DH both games on April 26 and catch April 27.
Kendall Graveman and Kevin Ginkel, D-backs
Graveman (back tightness) is scheduled to throw in an extended spring game on April 26.
Ginkel (right shoulder inflammation) will make a second appearance for Triple-A Reno on April 26.
Eury P¨¦rez, Ryan Weathers, Griffin Conine, Marlins
P¨¦rez (Tommy John surgery) is set to begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Jupiter on April 26.
Weathers (left flexor muscle strain) is set to begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Jupiter on April 27.
Conine will undergo surgery next week to repair his dislocated left shoulder.
Max Scherzer and Daulton Varsho, Blue Jays
Scherzer (right thumb inflammation) threw 27 pitches off the mound at Yankee Stadium on April 25. Next steps will be determined based on how he bounces back.
Varsho (right rotator cuff surgery) is likely to return either this weekend in New York or for the Blue Jays' next homestand beginning on April 29.
Blake Snell, Shohei Ohtani, Will Smith, Clayton Kershaw and Tony Gonsolin, Dodgers
Snell (left shoulder inflammation) didn't feel great after playing catch on April 22, and he didn't throw a planned bullpen session the day after. Another MRI on April 24 did not reveal structural damage.
Ohtani (right elbow and left shoulder surgeries) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on April 26.
Smith (right wrist soreness) injured his wrist on a tag play on April 22 and was out of the lineup the following day. He may undergo imaging.
Kershaw (left toe and left knee surgeries) made his second rehab start on April 22 with Double-A Tulsa. His next is scheduled for the week of April 28.
Gonsolin (back tightness) made his fourth rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on April 23, throwing 79 pitches across five-plus innings. He could be nearing activation.
Juan Brito and Emmanuel Clase, Guardians
Brito, Cleveland's No. 10 prospect, underwent surgery on April 25 to repair a high-grade ligament sprain in his right thumb and is expected to miss eight to 12 weeks.
Clase experienced right shoulder discomfort following a 30-pitch outing on April 20. He has since played catch and thrown a bullpen session without issue.
Ryan Pressly and Javier Assad, Cubs
Pressly (right knee issue) played catch on April 24 and felt good after throwing off a mound on April 25. Manager Craig Counsell said he was "trending in a good direction."
Assad, who was working back from a mild left oblique strain, suffered a Grade 2 strain of the same oblique during his April 22 rehab start and has been shut down again.
Grayson Rodriguez and Zach Eflin, Orioles
Rodriguez has a mild right lat strain, according to manager Brandon Hyde. The 25-year-old underwent an MRI after feeling right shoulder soreness while working his way back from elbow inflammation. Hyde said he is optimistic that Rodriguez will resume throwing in a few weeks.
Eflin (right lat strain) was scheduled to throw a side session off a mound on April 25 or 26.
Edwin D¨ªaz and Sean Manaea, Mets
D¨ªaz exited his appearance on April 23 due to left hip cramping but is not expected to miss time.
Manaea (right oblique strain) has resumed throwing but is still limited to flat-ground work as of April 23.
Giancarlo Stanton, Jonathan Lo¨¢isiga and Jake Cousins, Yankees
Stanton (torn tendons in both elbows) took a big step in his rehab by hitting in on-field batting practice ahead of the game in Cleveland on April 22. He said he feels better, but isn¡¯t sure when his rehab assignment will begin.
Lo¨¢isiga (recovery from right UCL surgery) is scheduled to begin a Minor League rehab assignment on April 26.
Cousins (right forearm strain) threw a bullpen on April 25 and should progress to facing live hitters soon. He is currently on track for a return in early-to-mid June.
Zack Gelof, Athletics
Gelof (right hamate fracture) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas on April 29.
Jake Mangum, Rays
Mangum was placed on the 10-day IL on April 24 with a left groin strain.
