Kris Bryant, Ezequiel Tovar, Thairo Estrada and Brenton Doyle, Rockies
Bryant (lumbar degenerative disc disease) is doing baseball activities but his return does not appear imminent as the Rockies initially thought.
Tovar was placed on the 10-day IL on April 19 with left hip pain.
Estrada (fractured right wrist) still has a slight fracture but is healing well.
Doyle (left quad soreness) has gotten "incrementally better" each day since sustaining the injury, per manager Bud Black. He was placed on the bereavement list on April 17.
Blake Treinen, Blake Snell and Evan Phillips, Dodgers
Treinen was placed on the 15-day IL on April 19 with right forearm tightness.
Snell (left shoulder inflammation) threw his first bullpen on April 19 and is expected to be able to return to the Dodgers' rotation without a rehab assignment.
Phillips (torn muscle in right rotator cuff) is nearing a return after making six rehab outings with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He is expected to make another appearance with the Comets before rejoining the team in Chicago.
Ketel Marte, A.J. Puk, Kendall Graveman and Kevin Ginkel, D-backs
Marte (left hamstring strain) has been taking live BP and has begun a running program.
Puk was placed on the 15-day IL on April 19 with left elbow inflammation after complaining of stiffness following his April 17 appearance. He is scheduled to undergo imaging.
Graveman (back tightness) threw a live BP session on April 18.
Ginkel (right shoulder inflammation) faced live hitters in a 21-pitch appearance in an extended Spring Training game.
CJ Abrams and Michael Soroka, Nationals
Abrams (right hip flexor strain) is "fairly close" to a return, per manager Dave Martinez, but is still working on moving laterally.
Soroka (right biceps strain) was expected to throw on April 19 in Colorado and if all goes well could make a rehab start next week.
Griffin Conine, Marlins
Conine left the Marlins' April 19 game against the Phillies with a left shoulder injury after diving into second base. He is currently being evaluated.
Jeff McNeil, Francisco Alvarez and Jose Siri, Mets
McNeil (right oblique strain) is scheduled to play back-to-back games with Double-A Binghamton on April 19-20 and will be re-evaluated afterward.
Alvarez (fractured left hamate bone) is scheduled for back-to-back nine-inning games on April 18 and 19 and could be activated on April 21.
Siri (fractured left tibia) will undergo follow-up testing on April 21 but is currently expected to miss at least three weeks.
Lucas Erceg, Royals
Erceg left his April 18 appearance with a left foot contusion after being struck by a 109.1 mph liner. X-rays came back clean and he was feeling good enough the next day to pitch in an emergency situation, although he did not appear.
Heston Kjerstad, Grayson Rodriguez and Andrew Kittredge, Orioles
Kjerstad left the Orioles' April 19 game after being hit by a pitch on the right elbow. X-rays came back negative.
The Orioles are seeking more opinions after receiving the results of imaging on Rodriguez's right shoulder. Rodriguez, who has been on the injured list with right elbow inflammation, was originally scheduled for a side session on April 17 but instead underwent an MRI after experiencing shoulder soreness.
Kittredge (left knee debridement) is ahead of his initial rehab schedule and close to facing live hitters as of April 18, meaning he could return before the end of May.
Ben Rice, Marcus Stroman, DJ LeMahieu and Jonathan Lo¨¢isiga, Yankees
Rice left the Yankees' April 19 game with a left elbow contusion stemming from his second hit-by-pitch of the day. X-rays and a CT scan all came back negative.
Stroman (left knee inflammation) is playing catch as of April 18.
LeMahieu (left calf strain) could begin a rehab assignment as soon as April 22, likely with Double-A Somerset, but will require a long buildup before he can return to the Majors.
Lo¨¢isiga (recovery from right UCL surgery) is scheduled to throw his third live batting practice session April 20 in Tampa, Fla., as he nears a Minor League rehab assignment.
Josh Lowe, Richie Palacios, Shane McClanahan and Ha-Seong Kim, Rays
Lowe (Grade 2 right oblique strain) has resumed throwing and took dry swings for the first time on April 19.
Palacios was placed on the 10-day IL on April 18 with a right knee sprain. The injury is similar to one he suffered in 2024 that cost him almost two months.
McClanahan (left triceps nerve irritation) is expected to attempt to throw for the first time the week of April 21.
Kim (right shoulder surgery) is throwing, hitting, fielding and throwing with more intensity across the infield. He's set to begin a sliding progression soon.
Mart¨ªn P¨¦rez, White Sox
P¨¦rez left his April 18 start vs. the Red Sox after three innings with left forearm soreness. He was placed on the 15-day IL on April 19 with left elbow inflammation and is scheduled for an MRI.
Brandon Marsh and Ranger Su¨¢rez, Phillies
Marsh (right knee soreness) is being evaluated after tweaking his knee on April 16. As of April 19, he is available off the bench in an emergency situation.
Su¨¢rez (lower back stiffness) will be in Philadelphia on April 19 for a bullpen session and will make his third rehab start on April 22 with Triple-A Lehigh Valley, after which he's likely to need at least one additional outing before being activated.
Pablo L¨®pez, Twins
L¨®pez (right hamstring strain) made a rehab start for Triple-A St. Paul on April 19, throwing 63 pitches over 4 2/3 innings of work.
Wyatt Langford and Jack Leiter, Rangers
Langford (right oblique strain) began a rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco on April 17 as the RoughRiders' DH. He was expected to play the outfield on April 18 before making his return to the big league lineup this weekend.
Leiter (right middle finger blister) threw about 53 pitches across three ¡°ups¡± in a live batting practice session pregame on April 17. The Rangers still haven¡¯t decided whether Leiter will immediately return to the big league rotation or make a rehab start beforehand.
Justin Steele, Eli Morgan and Javier Assad, Cubs
Steele underwent season-ending surgery on April 18 to address the flexor tendon and UCL in his left elbow.
Morgan (right elbow pain) underwent an MRI and is getting a second opinion.
Assad (mild left oblique strain) threw 66 pitches in 3 1/3 innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Iowa on April 15. He has another rehab start scheduled for April 20.
John Brebbia and Beau Brieske, Tigers
Brebbia was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 19 with a right triceps strain.
Brieske was placed on the 15-day injured list on April 18 with right ankle inflammation.
Casey Schmitt, Giants
Schmitt was placed on the 10-day IL on April 19 with a left oblique injury.
Masyn Winn, Cardinals
Winn (lower back spasms) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on April 18 and could be activated as soon as he is eligible on April 22.
Tyler Stephenson, Reds
Stephenson (left oblique strain) is catching in the bullpen and throwing to bases and could begin a rehab assignment as soon as April 22.
Brandon Woodruff and Tobias Myers, Brewers
Woodruff (right shoulder surgery) allowed three runs and six hits over four innings for High-A Wisconsin on April 18 in his second rehab start, striking out three and walking three.
Myers (left oblique discomfort) was slated to throw 65-70 pitches in his next rehab start with Triple-A Nashville on April 18 and could be activated afterwards.
Max Scherzer, Daulton Varsho and Erik Swanson, Blue Jays
Scherzer (right thumb inflammation) recently received a second cortisone shot in his thumb after meeting with another hand specialist. He will rejoin the Blue Jays on April 21 in Houston, and the club hopes Scherzer can play catch early in the week.
Varsho (right rotator cuff surgery) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Dunedin the weekend of April 18, then move to Triple-A Buffalo.
Swanson (median nerve entrapment) was scheduled to throw a simulated game on April 19, and if he recovers well, he'll begin his rehab assignment soon after.
Jackson Merrill, Yu Darvish, Jake Cronenworth and Jason Heyward, Padres
Merrill (right hamstring strain) didn't travel to Houston with the team as he continues to do light running and build toward more baseball activity.
Darvish (right elbow inflammation) is on the road trip and might throw a bullpen session in Houston.
Cronenworth (non-displaced right rib fracture) did some baseball activity in Houston on April 18.
Heyward was scratched from the Padres' lineup in Houston on April 18 with left knee soreness and is day to day.
Brayan Bello, Kutter Crawford and Connor Wong, Red Sox
Bello (right shoulder inflammation) will likely rejoin the rotation when the Mariners come to town April 22-24. If not, he will pitch in Cleveland for the start of the next road trip.
Crawford (right patellar soreness) threw an up-and-down bullpen session at Fenway Park on April 18, and his next step might be to face live hitters for the first time since his final start of the 2024 season.
Wong (left pinkie fracture) is making steady progress and could be back for the majority of May if he stays on his current trajectory.
